WELCOMED COOLER WEATHER TODAY AND FOR THE REST OF THE WEEK?
Today was the coolest day in 18 days.? Today was also the first day with below average temperatures in 14 days.
The high so far at DFW as of 330pm as only been 72!
RAIN CHANCES LOW TONIGHT?
There has been spotty rain around North Texas, but most of it has missed the metroplex.? A few spotty showers and light rain will be possible this evening, but coverage doesn?t look to be very high.? Clouds will remain with us overnight.
BEAUTIFUL WEDNESDAY?
Clouds will linger in the morning with some spotty drizzle mainly well south of DFW, but by the afternoon sunshine will prevail.? With dry air and light winds it will be almost perfect weather with highs near 80 degrees.
THURSDAY PLEASANT TOO?
Temperatures will actually be on the cool side for this time of year in the morning starting in the mdi 50s.? A few spots to the north could even drop into the 40s Thursday morning.? Mostly sunny skies will give way to increasing clouds thru the day.? Temperatures will top out in the upper 70s.? Average high for this time of year is in the mid 80s.
FRIDAY RAIN CHANCES?
Rain looks like a good bet on Friday.? An upper level low will track across Central Texas on Friday spreading moisture over our cooler weather at the surface.? Showers and a few isolated thunderstorms will be possible.? Highest coverage of rain will be in our southern counties, but rain chances look likely for the metroplex too.? The hope is that the upper level low will shift eastward fast enough to dry us out before the Texas Rangers game.? Of course, Yu Darvish is taking on CJ Wilson that evening.? The game is only on TXA 21 with pregame beginning at 630pm.? Temperatures will be cool like today with highs generally in the mid 70s.
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY?
Rain chances may linger into Saturday and Sunday with temperatures remaining in the 70s.? Not a wash out but spotty showers may linger.
HERE IS A LOOK AT RAIN CHANCES TONIGHT AND TOMRROW MORNING.? KEEP IN MIND THE LOW CATEGORY MEANS RAIN COVERAGE IN THOSE AREAS WILL BE LESS THAN 30%.?
